While anyone can take CLEP or DSST tests for undergraduate credit, qualifying military personnel and their families can take them for free through the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).

1. Apply to NLU for free.
National Louis University offers up to seven start dates per year, so you can apply anytime.
2. Send in supporting documents.
Soon after you apply, an NLU enrollment specialist will contact you and let you know what additional documentation you need to submit to verify your experience.
3. Let us help get your transcripts.
Your enrollment specialist will help you request official transcripts from all universities and colleges you’ve attended so you get credit for that experience.
4. Hear back from NLU with your admissions decision.
You will receive an admissions decision and evaluation of your transfer credits within approximately 24 hours of NLU receiving all required documentation.
